Nucleosomes
The genome in eukaryotic cell is composed of DNA, histone and non-histone proteins, which are assembled into a highly compact structure known as chromatin. Nucleosome is the basic repeating structural unit of chromatin, which contains approximately 147 bp of DNA wrapped around an octamer of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4) in ~1.7 left-handed super helical turns.
EpiGex offers two types of nucleosomes: native nucleosome prepared from mammalian cells and recombinant nucleosome assembled in vitro. Click on the product name to see complete information
